Who can find the most eggs???

Easter weekend seemed very rushed. We celebrated Easter on Saturday with Paul's family at his sister Judy's house. The kids had a great time decorating eggs, then finding them after they were hidden. The all have enough candy to provide cavities for at least 10 children each.

We went to church on Sunday, then left for Pismo Beach directly after. Kaimon will be attending a science camp at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.

Our grand daughter turned 1 year old. She is so precious!! Mommy & Daddy are such good parents. Above are some pictures from her birthday party.

Kaimon Learning to Ride a Bike

With a little convincing, Kaimon decided to take his training wheels off his bike! Paul started to take the training wheels off and Kaimon asked if he could do it himself. Paul gladly instructed him how to do it. Kaimon actually used a wrench and took them off. Kaimon rode up and down the side walk in front of our house with the watchful guidance of Paul. We thought he did great. Kaimon did not agree. He thought Paul let go of him too much -- making him almost fall. That is until he watched the video of himself. Then he realized Paul had a good grip on him and he was actually riding a bike without the training wheels. He was so excited.

Kaimon and I went out again the 2nd night to ride. Kaimon did even better -- riding longer by himself. After the ride was over he said how excited he was and how much fun it was!!

Paul's Hockey Tournament

Paul & I went to Las Vegas for a Hockey Tournament. His team made it to the semi-finals, then got eliminated. Paul made the most points and got a hat trick (3 goals in 1 game)!!! He played really good. Above are some pictures of the event. We had a great time. We didn't spend 1 quarter on gambling.

Kaimon Lost Front Tooth

Kaimon lost his front tooth!! He looks so cute with the big hole in the front. The other front tooth is loose now. Pretty soon he'll be wishing for he's 2 front teeth for Christmas. He talks with a little lisp now. It's so cute.

Paul & I Got ENGAGED!!!

Paul & I got engaged!!!!

I know you want to know how he asked me ... of course he thinks it was very romantic .... maybe for a guy it was, but for a girl with a fairytale imagination .... well, I thought there was room for improvement. So he asked me twice. The second time was much better. He didn't get down on his knee, but he did ask me in front of my parents. And he did bring a tear to my eye. I feel like I've waited a long time for this moment. It's very exciting!!

We've found the location. It will be a beautiful garden wedding at my mom's friends house. Her house has been featured in Romantic Homes several times. It's just amazing!!




We've chosen the band, the baker and we will be dining at the resturaunt this weekend of the potential caterer. I found the most beautiful dress. Kaimon was with me when I tried it on .... he said "Mommy, you look like a princess!!"

We have to find the photographer, the florist, pick out invitations, rent all the china, linens, glassware, silverware, chose our colors (I'm thinking simple elegance -- all white), and I'm sure other things that I just can't think of at the moment.

2008 Happy New Year!!

I can't believe it's already 2008. It doesn't seem possible. It seems like this year is already flying by. A lot has already happened ...... we celebrated Great Grandma's 87th birthday, Justin's 24th birthday and Chris' 27th birthday.
